We replace one of the front wheels of the shopping trolley with the Rocateq wheel. This prevents customers from taking your shopping trolleys home. Your customers can use the shopping trolleys in your shop and in the car park. As soon as they try to leave the car park, the Rocateq wheel is blocked.
If a customer gets the idea to lift the trolley over the blocking signal, don’t worry this is impossible! When the customer pulls the trolley back in the direction of the shop, the Rocateq wheel will automatically unlock.
When the shopping trolley approaches the perimeter of the car park the Rocateq wheel picks up the encrypted RF signal.
The blocking and unlocking cable is installed underground and activates the wheel brake mechanism. When the customer returns to the shop, the shopping trolley is unlocked.
The shopping trolley will not block abruptly, but a strong braking effect is created. This braking effect prevents annoyance for your customers and unnecessary wear and tear on the wheel.
